About SS Optometrist

As days became months and months became years I found myself graduating with more than just theoretical knowledge, now I had the experience to prescribe lenses, examine the eye for diseases and examine the correlation of how individuals eye relate to the wellness of the body.

This experience and knowledge were also facilitated by working and volunteering. My first practice was at University itself, thereafter working as locums at various practices around the West Rand.

A brief work period at a renowned optometrist in Swaziland where I was introduced to a new field of working in the optical laboratory cutting and fitting lenses.

Thereafter  I settled in Newcastle I had opened up a practice for a short period but the home was calling me and  I moved back to Johannesburg, now settled here I opened my practice in Roodepoort CBD called SS optometrist-For your eyes only.

I am now able to offer low priced yet stylish frames and contact lenses.
